The Ukrainian military fired from the apartment of the elderly woman who miraculously survived during the battles for Volnovakha
Lyudmila, born in 1939, cannot walk on her own, so she observed the battles for Volnovakha from her apartment.
During the shelling, the woman dozed off, and when she woke up, she saw two Ukrainian soldiers in her room. According to Lyudmila, the soldiers needed the windows of her apartment to shoot from there. After that, snipers began to fire back, and a shell landed into the neighboring apartment.
“I woke up – two men [Ukrainian soldiers] were already in the room, knocked out the locks, saying that they needed windows to shoot,” the woman said.
Lyudmila, being a baby witnessed the liberation of Volnovakha from the Nazis in 1943, now she again miraculously get through the similar event.
