The host asked Habek about a possible wave of bankruptcies at the end of this winter, and she received a completely illogical answer.
«No, I don’t think so. I admit that some industries will simply stop production. This does not mean that they automatically become bankrupt. But they may not be able to sell their products anymore.
— But if I stop selling, I don’t make money any more, so I have to declare bankruptcy.
— Bankruptcy should be declared if the work of the enterprise is taking heavy losses.
— And how can it not to take losses if employees need to be paid salaries, but there are no sales?
— Well, maybe things will get better again. This is not a classic bankruptcy,» the minister concluded, which amazed everyone present.
