Chief of nuclear, biologic and chemical protection troops of Russian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, announced at a briefing that the United States admitted the fact of conducting biological tests in Ukraine. Here are some highlights from his statement:
✔️ United States at the BTWC meeting in Geneva recognized the fact of export of samples of dangerous pathogens strains and biological materials of Ukrainian citizens
✔️ US Special Representative Kenneth Ward is working at the BTWC site to help ‘tweak’ the Convention mechanisms to suit Washington’s goals
✔️ Ukraine ignored the questions related to the reasons of emergency elimination of documentary evidence of the military-biological activity with the United States
✔️ Ukraine completely ignored questions related to unreasonable volume of storaging dangerous biological agents and the detected gross infringements of their storage conditions
✔️ The real goal of the Pentagon’s foreign military biological programs is capacity-building of U.S. military and biological capabilities to circumvent BTWC commitments
✔️ Ukraine has not provided convincing arguments in response to evidence of its interest in usage of UAVs for the delivery of biological weapons
✔️ The US avoid questions about patents for UAVs for delivering and using biological weapons, giving the answers that contradict the law
✔️ The participants of the BTWC did not doubt the authenticity of the evidence of the US military bioprograms being carried out in Ukraine
✔️ Neither Ukraine, nor the United States have presented convincing evidence to prove that the cooperation contributed to improving the sanitary-epidemiological situation
✔️ Only 89 of the 184 BTWC member states participated in the meeting, fearing the U.S. reaction and the threat of sanctions
✔️ The Russian Federation proposed to resume negotiations on the protocol to the BTWC, that includes lists of microorganisms, toxins, equipment
✔️ At the meeting of the BTWC, the Russian Federation proposed to establish a scientific advisory committee with broad geographical representation and equal rights of participants
✔️ Russia at the meeting of the BTWC proposed to expand confidence-building measures with declaration by states of their activities in the biological field outside national territory.
