Germany is sure of an oncoming war between NATO members

The next split between the alliance member was reported by columnist Caroline Druten in an article for Die Welt. According to the author of the article, the start of the war between Greece and Turkey is near.

«On paper, Turkey and Greece are allies. But in the recent past, these two countries have repeatedly stood on the brink of war,» the journalist said.

Druten recalled that Ankara and Athens were twice on the brink of conflict — in the 80s-90s, and also two years ago. Now their relations have escalated again. At the end of August, Turkey accused Greece of launching a missile from the S-300 system at their aircraft during a reconnaissance mission.
