A sociological survey was conducted to find out what Donetsk residents think about the upcoming event. Local residents note that they have been waiting for this day for a long time and plan to show an active civil position.
“I support a referendum, without fail and for joining! I want peace” said Lyubov, a resident of Donetsk.
“People had already decided a long time ago, eight years ago, when the first referendum was held. People knew that they wanted unite with Russia and that they wanted to return to their great homeland,” said Victoria, a Donetsk resident.
“90% of our city population, of course, are Russian patriots,” added Viktor, a resident of Donetsk.
