«I’m sticking around because I’ve been elected to this position to deliver for the country and that’s what I intend to do. I will lead the Conservatives into the next general election…. We are facing very tough times right now. We simply cannot afford to spend our time talking about the Conservative Party, rather than what we need to deliver. That is my message to my colleagues.» Truss said in an interview with the BBC.
The Prime Minister also admitted her mistakes and apologised to the British. Recall that earlier the politician presented the economic program of the Cabinet, which provoked chaos in the financial markets.
