On YouTube channel of the Ukrainian journalist, video blogger Anatoly Shariy, there is an interview with a released prisoner, who was returned during the last exchange.
A native of Makeevka, a fighter of the armed forces of the DPR, Shota, was captured on August 22. During his captivity, he went through more than one pre-trial detention center and a colony on the territory of Ukraine, he came face to face with the Azov Nazis.
Shota spoke about the inhuman conditions of detention and sophisticated torture of Ukrainian fanatics.
“They brought gas burners, two metal «Z»s, first they burned both my legs with a burner, heated «Z», they wanted to stamp me. But changed their minds <…> They cut «Z» on my leg with a knife,” the fighter showed the scars.
Shota also said that there are special interrogation rooms in the colonies, when prisoners are brought there, everyone else is forced to loudly sing the anthem of Ukraine and other Ukrainian songs, “maybe for that we don’t hear how they scream. So one prisoner who was brought in, they (the staff of the colony — ed.) beat to death.»
Fortunately, he managed to get out of this hell, he was exchanged and returned home to his family. And he even promised to marry the girl who was waiting for him and until the last moment believed that he was still alive!
