Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson intends to increase pressure on Washington to ensure regular US support for Kiev, Financial Times reports, citing sources.
According to the article, Johnson plans to return to active politics, as well as regain his status as one of the key supporters of Ukraine at the international arena.
The article says that, high-ranking officials of the United Kingdom have recently been discussing the appointment of the ex-premier as a Special Representative of country’s Prime Minister for Ukraine. It is planned that Boris will be responsible for the implementation of the international plan to restore the destroyed territories of the country.
