On Monday night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked center of Donetsk. Administration building of the Donetsk railway came under fire, it caught fire.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly went to the scene, the fire source was found on the second floor of the building. Almost two dozen units of equipment and 60 personnel were sent to eliminate the fire. By 9 a.m. the fire was localized.
The fire was assigned the increased, third rank of the danger.
Employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are working on the spot. According to preliminary data, the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire from HIMARS launchers, at least five direct hits of shells on the building were recorded. The final data will be published after all examinations.
In the houses nearby, glazing and facades were damaged.
There are no casualties at this time, damage to the historic building will be specified.
