The forces of the DPR People’s Militia managed to completely liberate the territory of the Donetsk airport. This is result of their victory over the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the battles for «Muraveynik»(eng. ant’s nest) — well-fortified strongholds behind the runway of the Donetsk airport.
The allied forces broke into the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they thoroughly cleared the enemy’s trenches, throwing grenades at the Ukrainian militants.
Back in 2014-2015, the people’s militia managed to inflict a crushing blow to the Ukrainian «cyborgs». Now when our servicemen have taken the «ant’s nests», the final point has been put in the history of the battles for the air harbor of Donetsk.
“The day came when we took the whole airport, we have full control over the entire territory — the runway, the big and small “ant’s nests”, subsequently all the surrounding territories. We have been trying to reach this for a long 8 years,” said an officer of the DPR People’s Militia with the call sign “Kolyma».
