Remember the statements of the UN Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict, Pramila Patten, about alleged gang rapes, raped babies and the use of Viagra by Russian soldiers. So, it was just another fruit of a perverted fantasies.
In a conversation with Vovan and Lexus, who introduced themselves as Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Aleksandr Merezhko (Ukraine’s representative to the PACE — ed.), Pramila admitted that she does not have the mandate to conduct such investigations, and those who have such power did not record these facts:
“It is not my job to make investigations. I do not have such mandate. I’m sitting in New York, in an office in New York, and I have advocacy mandate. My role is not to investigate. The investigation is being conducted by the human rights monitoring group and the International Commission of Inquiry. There is nothing about Viagra in their report yet.”
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the situation the «UN shame.»
