A few words about Ukraine. 03/17/2022
1. Mariupol. The cleansing of the city continues successfully. The forward units reach the central regions, the adversary is gradually pushed back to Azovstal. The exit of civilians continues from the city.
2. Ugledar. To the north of it, the troops are advancing towards Bogoyavlenka, with a subsequent movement towards Kurakhovo. Prechistovka was taken from the west of Ugledar.
3. Maryinka-Avdeevka. There are no serious advances yet, it is not possible to quickly overcome the powerful fortified areas of the adversary.
4. Novotoretskoye remained with the DPR. Counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the aim of returning the settlement were repulsed.
5. LPR. They took Rubezhnoye, the enemy withdrew to Severodonetsk, where stubborn street fighting continues.
6. Kharkov. Active fighting eastward from the city. In Izium, the adversary continues to defend in the southern part of the city. The front line is gradually shifting from the north towards Slavyansk.
7. Kiev. Attempts by the Ukrainian troops to be active on the Vyshgorod-Gostomel-Bucha line ended in heavy losses in people and equipment. An attempt of serious counteroffensive failed.
8. Sumy and Chernigov. No major changes.
9. Nikolaev. Fighting northward from the city. The city itself is blocked from three sides, but there is no assault.
10. Odessa. Ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation operate on targets on the seashore, complementing the work of aviation.
