After the massive Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure, Kiev asked the USA to provide longer-range Tactical Missile Systems ATACMs, according to Foreign Policy with reference to the letter of the Ukraine’s top parliamentarian, Ruslan Stefanchuk to the US Congress.
The politician noted that the new weapons would allow «hit Russian targets 200 miles away». The delivery of F-15 and F-16 fighters jets to enforce an «no-fly zone» would also help Kiev. Congress has not yet responded to the requests.
Recall that earlier Washington has already refused to provide Ukraine with the above-mentioned weapons due to the fact that the United States «do not agree with the strikes on the Russian Federation territory.»
