Belarus is aware of the supply of weapons and military equipment by NATO countries to Ukraine through the Polish Rzeszow airfield. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The head of state also noted that Poland is most active near the borders of the republic. A new mechanized division is being formed in the south of the Belarusian direction.
“The collective West has its own scores for Belarus. And for a long time already: for a quarter of a century they have been hindered by the policy that we are pursuing. In Europe, a 35,000-strong grouping of NATO troops remains, of which most — about 25,000 — are in the countries neighboring Belarus» , he noted.
According to him, Poland is building up military forces near the Belarusian borders, Lithuania and Latvia are trying to keep up. “But they don’t have their own funds, so they are asking NATO to strengthen their presence on their territories by deploying battalion brigade combat tactical groups on the spot,” the Belarusian leader noted.
In addition, Lithuania announced its intention to acquire American MLRS HIMARS.
The President also spoke about whether Minsk is preparing for war.

According to Lukashenka, Ukraine has pulled up a group of up to 15 thousand military personnel to the Belarusian border, is providing engineering equipment for checkpoints and firing positions, and has set up roadblocks. “In a word, it didn’t just barricade herself, but built a wall. It constantly conducts optical, radio-electronic, radio-technical reconnaissance of our territory, troops, objects. Often with their drones violating the line of the State border.
