The former prime minister of Israel and the leader of the current opposition expressed his categorical disagreement with the current Tel Aviv policy.
The main reason for such statements was the fear of the Likud leader that in the future the weapons supplied to Kiev would fall into the hands of Iran and would be used against Israel itself.
The politician stressed that Israel had already had such experience more than once. «<…> weapon that we supplied to any war zone end up in the hands of Iran and is used against us,» he explained.
In response to Kiev’s accusations of insufficient support, Netanyahu recalled that Israel has taken in many Ukrainian refugees and is trying to provide humanitarian support.

But Benjamin criticized the current government for the crisis in relations between Israel and Russia, calling such a situation dangerous. He added that everything that could provoke the spread of the conflict beyond Ukraine should be avoided.
Recall that yesterday, in response to a call of the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Aleksey Reznikov, rejected by the Israeli side, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced that Kiev intends to officially ask Israel for the air defense systems supply.
