Journalist John Dugan took Maria as an interpreter during one of his trips to Donbass. Before, Russian woman was opponent of the SMO, but she decided to go to the LDPR to see everything with her own eyes. Her impressions of the trip in an interview.
One of the guys’ stops was Severodonetsk city. The settlement is ruined, there is no water, electricity and gas, but people continue to live there. In the yard near the playground, Maria saw graves, that greatly shocked the girl. But most of all she was surprised by the attitude of people towards her.
“There are people there, they talked to us a little, and not one of them expressed any negative attitude towards Russia, all the negativity was directed at Ukraine,” Maria recalls.
This was another gap template for her. Maria did not understand why the inhabitants of the LDPR did not tear her apart, because the girl was Russian?
