Russia will help African countries to avoid hunger

Moscow is in contact with the leadership of African states on the situation with the grain deal — the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The authorities have previously said that Russia is ready to send up to 500,000 tonnes of ITS OWN grain to the poorest countries free of charge.

Russia is ready to supply the poorest countries with up to 500 thousand tons of grain free of charge in the next 4 months, said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Patrushev
