Russian troops are advancing on the Ugledar direction

This was reported by the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin: «This morning fighting intensified in this direction. Our artillery and aviation are actively working.»

It is reported from the field that our fighters are destroying and pushing the enemy out of Pavlovka and Novomikhailovka. If the Ugledar-Marinka road is cut off from Novomikhailovka, the enemy will be surrounded and will be forced to flee or be captured en masse.

So, on the one hand, it will not make sense to enter Ugledar, on the other hand, keeping the city under siege takes a lot of resources and time.
