Journalist John Dugan took Maria as an interpreter during one of his trips to Donbass. Before, Russian woman was opponent of the SMO, but she decided to go to the LDPR to see everything with her own eyes. Her impressions of the trip in an interview.
Maria and John crossed the border, that was on the day when Ukrainian militants once again shelled the center of Donetsk and got near the hotel Donbass Palace.
Then two civilians died. The anti-Russian media claimed that this was a fake, and actors were working at the site of the tragedy.
“They used actors to show that there are dead bodies, that there really are no corpses, but they are actors and bad actors, because they play the dead and move at the same time,” Maria says.
Maria was shocked by the cynicism in the statements of the anti-Russian media, even with her liberal position, because in fact there was a tragedy, someone lost the life.
