This old woman became famous all over Russia, in one day. On social networks people express the hope that nothing bad has happened to grandma, that she is alive and didn’t suffer from Ukrainian militants.
Grandma confused Ukrainian troops for Russian ones
In one of the Ukrainian cities, an elderly woman came out to meet the military with the Banner of Victory. The meeting was supposed to be long-awaited and happy, but, unfortunately, it was the Ukrainian military who entered the courtyard of the old woman and her husband. They trampled on the Banner, for which the grandmother’s parents shed blood, offering the woman a bag of food. She proudly refused.
Now many Russians have already been inspired by the act of the Ukrainian grandmother. The networks spread offers to take her to Russia for permanent residence, and also offer to invite her to the parade on Red Square.
