Military journalist Aleksey Borzenko recalled his work in Yugoslavia during the NATO bombing and told why Russia does not use such methods against Ukraine.
«The NATO coalition destroyed everything totally — all sources of electricity. They used graphite bombs there. Fireworks can’t be compared with the use of these bombs. It got to the point that the Serbs were pulling power lines through sewers and through water pipes,» he said.
As a result of the energy infrastructure destruction, according to journalist, «there was collapse» in Yugoslavia.
Borzenko compared the actions of the North Atlantic Alliance with warfighting methods of the RF Armed Forces in Kiev.
“We could destroy more transformers in order to completely plunge Kiev into darkness. But we don’t do this. Because we understand perfectly what will be there in four or five day if this is done,” Borzenko said.
